Build Faster Apps With Claude AI In Xcode

Anthropic announced that Claude is fully integrated into Apple’s Xcode 26, allowing developers to access coding intelligence features directly inside Apple’s IDE.

By connecting a Claude account, developers can use natural language to debug, refactor, and build new features using Claude Sonnet 4.

The integration also supports project-wide context, conversation history, and file attachments, making Claude a powerful coding assistant built into the Apple developer workflow.

With Claude in Xcode, developers can generate inline documentation, create SwiftUI previews and playgrounds, and edit code without leaving their editor.

The feature works across Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans, sharing usage limits across platforms.

This marks a major step in embedding AI directly into Apple’s app development ecosystem, streamlining workflows and accelerating app creation for iOS, macOS, and beyond.
