CRV recently announced that it has closed a $750 million flagship fund, designated exclusively for early-stage investments in seed and Series A rounds.

This new fund, raised in just four weeks and oversubscribed, underscores strong confidence from the firm’s long-term limited partners in CRV’s refined focus on startup innovation.

The capital commitment marks a strategic pivot toward earlier-stage bets, moving away from later-stage investing for greater capital efficiency and impact.

The fund will target startups in consumer-facing products and developer tools, extending CRV’s long-standing track record of early investments in notable companies like DoorDash, Mercury, and Vercel.

With more than 750 startups in its portfolio and over 80 companies going public, CRV continues to lean into its disciplined approach, doubling down on what it’s best known for: identifying and leading early rounds.
