Elon Musk posted on X that a new version of Full Self-Driving software, FSD 14, is coming in about six weeks.
He said its brain will have ten times more power and that it will have many other fixes to make it work better.
Right now, the update is being trained and tested to make sure it’s safe. Musk was replying to a fan who complained about how the current FSD nags drivers too much, like asking them to touch the wheel constantly.
This could be a huge deal for Tesla owners and anyone excited about self-driving cars.
Once they check that FSD 14 is safe in the real world, Musk thinks it will be amazing and won’t bug drivers as often.
Fans are buzzing because better FSD means smoother rides, fewer accidents, and maybe even robotaxis sooner.
If it lives up to the hype, it might make Tesla cars way ahead of other companies in smart driving tech.
