Facebook’s Passkey Update Makes Sign-Ins Super Easy

Meta’s rolling out passkeys, so you can ditch those annoying passwords and log in with just a quick fingerprint, face scan, or PIN on your phone. It’s powered by FIDO Alliance tech, so it’s tougher for hackers to mess with your account.

You can set it up in the Accounts Center on iOS or Android, and soon it’ll work for Messenger and even make Meta Pay smoother.

Passwords are still around for now, but this passkey thing feels like a sneak peek into a slicker, safer future—kinda like what Google and Apple are doing, too.
