Google has announced that Gemini, its conversational AI, is now available on Google TV to enhance people’s discovery of entertainment and interaction with their screens.

Unlike traditional voice commands, Gemini enables free-flowing conversations, making finding shows based on preferences easier, catching up on previous seasons, or identifying trending titles.

Users can also ask for reviews, get recommendations for group viewing, or describe vague details about a show to find what they’re looking for.

Beyond entertainment, Gemini transforms the TV into a learning hub.

With supporting YouTube videos displayed right on the big screen, families can ask questions for school projects, learn new skills, or even get recipe ideas.

Starting today, Gemini is available on the TCL QM9K series, and it will be rolled out to additional devices, including Google TV Streamer, Walmart onn.

4K Pro, Hisense 2025 models, and TCL’s upcoming lineup later this year. This launch marks a major step in making AI a central part of home entertainment.
