Google has officially launched Deep Think, a major update to its Gemini 2.5 Pro model, making it available in the Gemini app for Google AI Ultra subscribers.
This reasoning mode enables parallel thinking, allowing Gemini to generate multiple hypotheses simultaneously, refine them over time, and deliver more thoughtful, creative responses, ideal for tackling complex coding, design, and scientific queries.
Deep Think builds on a gold-medal version that excelled at the International Mathematical Olympiad and now offers Bronze-level IMO performance while giving users much faster, usable results.
Subscribers can access it via a toggle in the prompt bar and benefit from longer responses, built-in tool integrations, and improved benchmark scores across LiveCodeBench V6 and other reasoning tasks.
Google plans to extend access via API to trusted researchers soon, further deepening its capabilities in enterprise and academic settings.
