Grammarly Acquires Superhuman to Enhance AI Productivity

Grammarly will acquire Superhuman, an AI-powered email app, to bolster its AI productivity platform.

Following its acquisition of Coda, Grammarly aims to make email a central hub for AI agents that handle tasks like drafting emails and scheduling, leveraging Superhuman’s technology that boosts email response speed by 72%.

The integration with Grammarly’s 40 million daily users will enhance personalized communication.

The acquisition supports Grammarly’s goal of creating a seamless, multi-agent system for professional workflows.

Backed by a $1 billion funding round from General Catalyst, this move positions Grammarly to compete with Microsoft and Google in AI-driven productivity solutions.

Grammarly expects the acquisition to close by early 2026, pending regulatory approval.
