  • Google Analytics has added percentages to each row for all detailed reports in the “Reports” and “Ads” modules.

  • Google Analytics has added a missing session_start notification when a report shows a high rate of missing “session_start” events. The notification explains the issue and helps you resolve it.

  • Google Analytics has added a notification that appears when a report shows a high rate of “(not set)” values. This notification will also explain the issue and offer a resolution.

  • TikTok shared an Oxford Economics report that estimates 28 million workers are employed by the 7.5 million US businesses on TikTok. It is quite fascinating how much of an impact this platform has made.

  • TikTok released some new features to help parents and teens build balanced digital habits. The features include in-app meditation after 10 pm for teens and tools for parents to set boundaries and limitations.

  • Snapchat introduced the first of its new advanced AI video lenses. At the moment, this feature is only available to Snapchat Platinum members.

  • LinkedIn released some insights into how AI is transforming B2B sales. You can view the full report here.

  • Gemini can now connect to more Android apps and services, including Spotify, Phone, Messages, and WhatsApp.

  • Stripe released its 2024 annual letter (in late February) outlining why it is “as enthusiastic as ever” about the long-term trends in the internet economy. It’s a good read.

I find it quite fascinating that there are over 7.5 million businesses on TikTok and how much they’ve contributed to the United States economy by using the platform for marketing and employing over 28 million people. 

The platform has become not only a place for entertainment, but also for growth, education, innovation, and various opportunities for all kinds of different people; from creators, to business owners, and those, who are just looking for work. 

Without TikTok, some businesses might not have seen the scalability and the growth, thus not producing more money, thus not employing some individuals. 

A butterfly effect, if you think about it.

The AI race between Gemini, Grok, and Chat GPT is fascinating. It’s interesting to think back a few years to where we were and see where we are now. 

With Gemini’s new updates, you don’t even have to pick up your phone to use it. With just a few voice prompts, you can set your alarm, respond to a text message, or even take a selfie.

Now, it’s only a matter of time before everyone uses AI in their daily lives. I’m excited about the future and where we’ll be in a few years unless it ends like the movie I Robot with Will Smith. Then, I don’t know how I feel about it. 🤣

When you read letters like Stripe’s 2024 annual report, it makes you realize the magnitude of money that is out there in the marketplace. Stripe manages nearly 200 million subscriptions for 300,000+ companies!

Also, knowing that Stripe’s clientele includes half of the Fortune 100 companies and 80% of the Forbes Cloud 100, it makes sense why they can be so harsh toward smaller digital companies that promote things that are “potentially spammy.”

Stipes revenue is growing 7X faster than the S&P 500! 🤯 Wow.

Friends, it’s time to think bigger… MUCH BIGGER.

For instance, instead of thinking about how you can sell a course to someone, think about how you can build a one-of-a-kind system or platform that helps people achieve XYZ at scale.

Instead of offering a done-for-you service, think about how you can connect service providers with their clients via a platform (just like Stripe is doing) so that you can scale high without having to be the one servicing every individual client.

Be creative and discover your BIG objectives.
