Perplexity has officially introduced Perplexity for Government, a new initiative designed to serve U.S. federal agencies with secure, AI-powered tools.
Through this program, all federal users gain free, secure-by-default access to Perplexity’s most advanced AI models, with safeguards ensuring government data is not reused for training or model improvement.
The initiative makes search more reliable and compliant for public sector use.
Additionally, Perplexity launched Enterprise Pro for Government, a custom edition of its premium enterprise platform tailored for agency requirements.
Offered through government channels like GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule, the plan is priced at just $0.25 per agency for the first 15 months, aiming to blend affordability, performance, and compliance.
