Samsung Electronics has introduced the Smart Modular Home, an AI-enabled residential model designed for modular architecture, at IFA 2025, Europe’s largest home appliance exhibition.
This innovative concept combines AI-powered appliances, energy-efficient HVAC systems, and seamless SmartThings and SmartThings Pro integration to create a fully connected home environment.
By showcasing the Smart Modular Home at IFA, Samsung is preparing to expand this solution into the global B2B housing market.
The Smart Modular Home offers an immersive, adaptive living experience. Using SmartThings’ 3D Map View, residents can check the status of appliances and control devices in real time.
Smart entry features, such as AI-powered security cameras and smart locks, provide convenience and safety, while SmartThings automatically adjusts lighting, temperature, and appliances as users move through the home.
The system also optimizes energy usage through SmartThings Energy, allowing appliances to run outside peak hours and integrating EHS heat pump solutions for underfloor heating, cooling, and hot water.
