Tesla has officially launched its Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system in Australia.

Its first deployment is in right-hand-drive regions.

The rollout starts with Model 3 and Model Y vehicles equipped with Hardware 4 (AI4), delivered via a software update that adapts FSD for left-side driving conditions, including features like Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control alongside previous Autopilot capabilities.

New buyers in these regions will receive a 30-day free trial of the FSD (Supervised) suite.

After the trial, customers can pay AUD $10,100 upfront, or opt for a subscription model, similar to North America.

The full rollout will eventually cover other compatible models as the software is validated.

Early media and consumer responses have been overwhelmingly positive.
