Video Overviews Are Now Available In NotebookLM

Google has added a new option to NotebookLM: Video Overviews.

It’s a visual version of the Audio Overviews that launched earlier this year, aimed at helping users grasp the main ideas from their source material faster.

When you upload something, like a transcript, article, or notes, the system now gives you the option to watch a short, AI-generated video that highlights the key points.

The feature was announced via Google’s official X account and is already available.

With Video Overviews now live, NotebookLM becomes even more flexible, whether you’re a student reviewing material, or someone just trying to digest dense content more easily.

Watching a summary instead of listening to one may not seem like a big change, but for many, it might make a real difference in how quickly and clearly they understand something.
