Lucid Rolls Out Hands-Free Driving and Lane Changes

Lucid Motors has rolled out a major upgrade to its DreamDrive Pro system, including hands-free driving and lane-change capabilities, which is scheduled for July 30, 2025.

With this update, drivers can travel on certain highways without keeping their hands on the wheel, while the vehicle handles steering, speed, and lane changes.

The system uses a network of 32 sensors to monitor surroundings and help ensure safe, confident driving.

This step brings Lucid closer to delivering a truly autonomous driving experience.

Competing with systems like GM’s Super Cruise and Tesla’s Autopilot, Lucid continues to evolve its software and expand its tech features, aiming to give drivers both luxury and cutting-edge convenience on the road.
