Tesla Drivers Hit 4.5 Billion Miles On Full Self-Driving

Tesla drivers have collectively driven over 4.5 billion miles using the company’s Full Self-Driving software in “Supervised” mode, according to a recent update from Muskonomy on X.

This marks a significant increase from the 2.9 billion miles reported just six months ago, showcasing Tesla’s rapid expansion and user adoption of FSD across its fleet.

This surge in real-world mileage helps Tesla collect valuable data to refine its autonomous driving capabilities.

As the company pushes toward its goal of achieving full autonomy, these billions of supervised miles are critical for training its AI systems, enhancing safety, and moving closer to launching its long-anticipated robotaxi network.
