The Boring Company: An Underground Loop Will Be Built In TN

The Boring Company has announced its latest infrastructure initiative: a high-speed underground transit system in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dubbed the Music City Loop, the project aims to connect the heart of downtown, including the Convention Center, to Nashville International Airport through a network of underground tunnels.
Passengers will ride in Tesla vehicles, cutting what would typically be a longer drive into an 8-minute underground commute.
What sets this project apart is its privately funded model, meaning no taxpayer money is required.
The company emphasized the system will be constructed entirely beneath the surface, helping to avoid traffic disruptions during development.
This move aligns with The Boring Company’s broader vision of streamlining urban mobility while reducing emissions through electric vehicle integration.
Nashville now joins a growing list of cities embracing next-generation tunnel transit solutions.
