Claude AI has rolled out exciting new features that turn its chatbot into a smart learning partner.
For everyone using the Claude app, there is a new “Learning” style.
Instead of just giving you the answer to a question, this style guides you.
It uses the Socratic approach, which asks questions to help you determine the answer yourself.
This way, you can learn and understand difficult ideas more deeply, which is great for students and anyone wanting to master a new topic.
There are two special new learning modes for those who use Claude Code to help with programming.
The first is the “Explanatory” mode, like having an expert programmer look over your shoulder.
Claude will explain what it did, why it chose a specific code, and its good and bad parts.
The second is “Learning” mode, which pauses the coding process and asks you to fill in parts of the code yourself.
This hands-on approach helps developers learn by doing and actively thinking, making it a powerful way to improve coding skills.
