Cohere announced the official launch of its Paris office, making the city the hub for its fast-growing operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The move strengthens Cohere’s ability to engage with enterprises, governments, and regional partners as demand rises for secure enterprise AI.
By the end of the month, the Paris team will reach 20 employees, with plans to double headcount within a year by hiring top AI talent from France.
The expansion also brings new leadership, including an incoming VP of EMEA and Stéphanie Finck Piccin as Head of EMEA Public Policy, who previously led initiatives at Salesforce.
Cohere CEO Aidan Gomez said the Paris hub will anchor commercial growth, sovereign AI solutions, and regional public policy engagement.
The office reflects Cohere’s global strategy to scale its secure AI platform North, while supporting France’s role as a leader in the AI ecosystem.
