OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Pulse, a new experience that shifts ChatGPT from a reactive tool into a proactive assistant.
Available first to Pro users on mobile, Pulse delivers personalized daily updates in the form of visual cards, each curated from your chats, preferences, and optional integrations like Gmail and Google Calendar.
These updates can include tailored recommendations, reminders, or insights—whether it’s local events, project tips, or follow-ups on topics you’ve been exploring.
Users can curate what shows up, react with feedback, and refine the system to get more relevant updates each day.
The goal of Pulse is to help people make progress without always needing to know what to ask next. Instead of endless scrolling, it offers concise, focused updates designed to save time and provide actionable insights.
Over time, OpenAI plans to expand Pulse with more app integrations, richer workflows, and timely suggestions that appear throughout the day.
This marks a step toward ChatGPT evolving into a proactive AI assistant that quietly accelerates both work and personal goals.
