Apple has partnered with Japanese fashion house ISSEY MIYAKE to introduce iPhone Pocket, a unique 3D-knitted creation designed as both an accessory and a statement of design philosophy.
Inspired by the idea of “a piece of cloth,” iPhone Pocket’s single knitted structure expands to fit any iPhone, along with other essentials like AirPods or keys.
The open ribbed textile subtly reveals what’s inside, blending technology and fashion into a seamless experience.
Crafted in Japan, the design draws from ISSEY MIYAKE’s signature pleats, emphasizing texture, simplicity, and universal appeal.
Users can carry an iPhone Pocket in multiple ways: handheld, tied to a bag, or worn directly on the body.
Available in short and long strap versions, the accessory comes in a range of colors, including lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black.
According to Yoshiyuki Miyamae, Design Director of MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO, “iPhone Pocket explores the joy of wearing iPhone in your own way.”
Apple’s Vice President of Industrial Design, Molly Anderson, added that the collaboration “celebrates craftsmanship, simplicity, and delight,” offering a new, wearable way to carry Apple devices.
Launching November 14, iPhone Pocket will be sold at select Apple Store locations and on apple.com in France, Greater China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and the U.S.
Prices start at $149.95 for the short strap design and $229.95 for the long strap version, just in time for the holiday season.
