Amazon Made $167.7 Billion In Q2

Amazon reported $167.7 billion in revenue for Q2 2025, a 13% year-over-year increase, beating analyst expectations and reflecting momentum in cloud, retail, and ads.

Net income hit $18.2 billion nearly tripling from $6.7 billion in Q2 2024.

Amazon Web Services generated $30.9 billion, up 17%, further strengthening its cloud dominance.

Ad revenue grew over 20% to an estimated $15.7 billion, making Amazon one of the top players in digital advertising.

North America saw $100.1 billion in sales, while international revenue reached $36.8 billion, up 16%.

Operating income surged to $19.2 billion, fueled by AWS profitability and tight cost controls. CEO Andy Jassy pointed to rising demand for generative AI and strong enterprise adoption across AWS.

Despite the beat, Amazon shares dipped slightly after hours, as investors digested softer forward guidance and broader economic headwinds.
