Amazon: Next Kuiper Launch Is Set For August 7, 2025

Amazon has announced that its next Project Kuiper mission, KF-02, is scheduled to launch no earlier than August 7 aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
This mission will carry 24 satellites into low Earth orbit, bringing the total number of Kuiper satellites in space to 102. The goal is to eventually deploy 3,232 satellites to build a low-latency, high-speed broadband network that reaches underserved communities around the world.
With more than 80 launches secured across multiple providers, including Blue Origin, ULA, and Arianespace, Amazon is accelerating its deployment timeline to meet its FCC obligations by mid-2026.
To support its rapid launch cadence, Amazon recently completed a 100,000-square-foot satellite processing facility at Kennedy Space Center, capable of handling multiple launches at once and processing over 100 satellites per month.
Expansion on the site has already begun, signaling Amazon’s long-term investment in Kuiper’s infrastructure.
