Anthropic has launched Claude Haiku 4.5, the latest addition to its suite of AI models, which is now available for all.
The new model offers cutting-edge performance at a fraction of the cost, providing similar coding capability to Claude Sonnet 4 but at a third of the cost and twice the speed.
Built for real-time applications like chatbots, customer support representatives, and pair programming, Haiku 4.5 combines performance, intelligence, and efficiency for smoother AI experiences.
Claude Haiku 4.5 even surpasses Sonnet 4 in certain activities, such as working on computers and creating applications like Claude for Chrome, making them faster and more efficient.
Developers can deploy the model via the Claude API, Amazon Bedrock, or Google Cloud Vertex AI, for $1 per million input tokens and $5 per million output tokens.
Safety testing confirms that Haiku 4.5 is Anthropic’s most aligned model yet, with lower misalignment rates than Sonnet 4.5 and Opus 4.1, and is released under the AI Safety Level 2 (ASL-2) standard.
This introduction offers users and developers an accelerated, more secure, and more affordable option for high-performance AI computations.
