Anthropic Signed The CMS Health Tech Ecosystem Pledge

Anthropic has signed the CMS Health Tech Ecosystem Pledge, committing to improve healthcare data sharing and support better patient access to their own records.

The pledge, created by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in partnership with the White House, brings together over 60 organizations, including Amazon, Google, and OpenAI, to modernize health data interoperability by 2026.

As part of the initiative, Anthropic plans to use its Claude AI assistant to help patients navigate medical data, understand records, and receive personalized support, all with full consent and transparency.

The move reinforces Anthropic’s broader focus on applying AI responsibly in real-world settings like healthcare.
