Anthropic is introducing an Excel add-in, real-time market data connectors, and new Agent Skills to Claude for Financial Services, automating finance modeling and research.
The update enhances Claude’s functionality for use cases such as building discounted cash flow models, researching earnings, and generating company reports, enabling finance teams to operate more efficiently and accurately.
The newest Claude for Excel beta enables editing and analysis of spreadsheets directly in a sidebar within Microsoft Excel.
It can explain formulas, fix errors, and create models from scratch without interfering with data structure.
Anthropic also added integrations with data platforms such as Moody’s, LSEG, and Aiera, which give Claude instant access to real-time market data and analyst research.
Paired with new Agent Skills for valuation, due diligence, and coverage reports, Claude is becoming a leading AI solution for banks, investment firms, and fintechs that want to automate complex financial workflows.
