Community Memorial Hospital announced on January 12, 2026, that it will implement Oracle Health Foundation EHR across its 25-bed critical access hospital and nine primary and specialty care clinics in Central New York.
The hospital plans to deploy Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent, a voice-driven AI tool, to automate clinical documentation by drafting structured notes from patient-physician conversations for physician review and approval.
CMH will also use Oracle Health Seamless Exchange to aggregate and deduplicate patient data from external sources, including national exchanges and immunization registries, for clinician access.
The previous setup relied on disconnected legacy systems that created complex workflows, duplicate records, and administrative burdens for staff. Jeffery Coakley, president and CEO of CMH, stated that the move unifies clinical systems and supports better patient service through automated workflows and improved coordination.
Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent integrates directly into the Foundation EHR to reduce time spent on manual entry, such as navigating menus or typing notes. Seamless Exchange provides a more complete patient view by securely incorporating third-party data into daily workflows.
