Customize Search Results With Google’s Preferred Sources

Google has launched a new feature called “Preferred Sources” that gives users more control over the news they see.

This feature, rolling out in the U.S. and India, allows you to select your favorite news websites and blogs.

When these sources have fresh and relevant content, their articles will be displayed more prominently in the “Top Stories” section or in a dedicated “From your sources” section.

To use the feature, users can search for a news topic, click an icon next to the “Top Stories” section, and choose their preferred sources.

The article notes that the number of sources you can add is unlimited, and you can manage your selections at any time.

For users who previously had a similar feature enabled in Labs, their selections will be automatically transferred over.
