Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite: Available For Developers And Enterprises

Google has officially announced that Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite is now stable and available to all developers and enterprise customers through Google AI Studio and Vertex AI.

This lightweight model is designed for ultra-fast performance, low cost, and high efficiency, ideal for real-time applications.

According to Google, Flash-Lite supports a 1 million-token context window, multimodal inputs, and features like grounding with Google Search and function calling.

While it’s optimized for speed and affordability, it’s still built on the powerful Gemini 2.5 architecture, offering reliable performance for production use cases.

With this launch, the entire Gemini 2.5 family, including Pro, Flash, and now Flash-Lite, is fully production-ready, giving developers a full spectrum of model options depending on their needs for latency, reasoning, and cost-efficiency.
