Google Debuts Gemini Drops To Keep Users Ahead On AI Tools

Google today launched Gemini Drops, a recurring monthly showcase designed to shine a spotlight on the latest additions to the Gemini app and provide users with helpful tips for leveraging new features.

July’s debut Drop includes the debut of Veo 3, which converts photos into dynamic 8‑second video clips with sound.

Scheduled Actions, such as morning summaries of your calendar and unread emails, and Gemini Live captions, enabling users to read along in real time during voice interactions.

July’s Drop also brings broader compatibility and smarter brains to Gemini: the platform is now accessible on all Wear OS 4+ watches, letting you tap into Gemini right from your wrist.

Gemini 2.5 Pro has been upgraded with enhanced capabilities in reasoning, coding, science, and multimodal tasks, all within the app experience.

With Gemini Drops, Google is aiming to help users stay current on evolving app AI tools and encourage deeper, more effective engagement with the platform’s expanding feature set.
