Google has officially launched the Pennsylvania AI Accelerator, a new program to help small businesses adopt AI tools and skills.
It builds on Google’s broader AI Works for America initiative, first announced in July.
The Accelerator provides Pennsylvania small businesses with no-cost resources designed to make AI accessible and practical.
This includes a statewide series of live, hands-on workshops led by a Pennsylvania AI Coach in partnership with local community groups.
The first workshop kicked off with 50 businesses in attendance.
In addition, participants gain access to Google’s AI and Prompting Essentials courses for self-paced learning, plus Google Career Certificates, which allow teams to upskill in high-demand areas like cybersecurity, data analytics, and project management.
By combining in-person workshops with flexible online learning, Google’s Pennsylvania AI Accelerator aims to give small businesses the tools they need to innovate, grow, and compete in an AI-driven economy.
The program reflects Google’s commitment to making AI resources more inclusive and ensuring local businesses can benefit from emerging technologies.
