The International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) is a tough contest where young coders show off their skills, especially with a language called C++.
Recently, a group called Vals AI tested some of the best AI models using IOI problems from 2024 and 2025.
xAI’s Grok 4 came out on top, scoring the highest with an impressive 26.2% accuracy.
That beat out big names like GPT-5 and Gemini 2.5 Pro, making it the new champ in thigrok s coding showdown.
Even though it didn’t win a medal like human contestants might, this win shows Grok 4 is getting really good at thinking like a programmer.
