IBM and Agassi Sports Entertainment announced a multiyear partnership to develop an AI-driven platform designed to revolutionize the world of racquet sports for participants and spectators alike.
Set to launch in 2026, the platform taps into IBM’s watsonx.ai and state-of-the-art computer vision to turn everyday video footage of movements into professional-grade coaching and performance insights delivered onto users’ mobile devices.
Andre Agassi will be closely involved in defining the system’s training methodologies and its user community.
Beyond AI coaching, the platform will be a digital destination for premium content, commercial capabilities, entertainment, and interactive experiences, including the ability to interact with athletes.
Created on IBM Cloud and built by IBM Consulting, this platform intends to increase access to racquet sports, reduce barriers to training, and accelerate community growth worldwide.
By merging elite athletic knowledge with enterprise-grade AI, IBM and Agassi Sports aim to bring innovation, inclusion, and digital scale to tennis, pickleball, padel, and beyond.
