JetBrains has simplified how its AI subscriptions work.
Starting August 25, 2025, your AI quota will now match the price of your plan, in actual dollars, plus a little bonus if you’re on the Ultimate plan.
So if you pay $30 a month, you get $35 worth of AI credits. You can easily add more credits that last a year when you run out. This makes what you’re spending much clearer.
They kept the plan prices the same, but now, using AI gets more transparent; you pay exactly for what you use.
For teams, everyone shares the extra credits and you can move them around as needed.
JetBrains made these changes so developers, schools, and businesses can clearly see how much AI work they can do without guesswork or hidden costs.
