Microsoft Copilot Launches Desktop Share Feature For Insiders

Microsoft launched an update to the Copilot app, for Windows Insiders across all channels via the Microsoft Store, introducing Desktop Share for Copilot Vision.
Users can display their entire desktop or select specific app windows, enabling Copilot to view the screen live and provide tips, answer questions, or assist with tasks like editing resumes or navigating games, triggered by a glasses icon in the Copilot composer and stopped with a ‘Stop’ or ‘X’ button.
The feature prioritizes privacy by processing visuals only during active sessions, without storing any data.
It’s designed to boost productivity for creative and technical tasks alike.
Copilot Vision’s rollout aims to make AI a seamless part of daily workflows for Insiders testing the feature.
