Samsung Reports $60.4B In Q3 Revenue As AI Chip Demand Accelerates

Samsung reported solid third-quarter results, driven by surging demand for high-bandwidth memory used in AI servers and higher shipments of flagship models such as the Galaxy Z Fold7.

Recorded results in the memory segment were made possible by strong HBM3E adoption and the growth of server SSDs. Samsung Display also benefited from steady demand for premium smartphone panels and gaming-focused monitors.

Headed into Q4, Samsung expects continued strength in AI-related server components and seasonal demand for premium mobile devices.

Samsung plans to expand sales of advanced memory products and broaden the availability of premium TVs, while strengthening partnerships to bring more AI-enabled consumer electronics to market.

With sharpening competition across devices and displays, innovation and technology differentiation will be key to Samsung’s leadership, requiring a larger breadth of product ecosystems.
