TikTok Launches “For You” Calendar For Families

TikTok announced the launch of the “For You” Calendar, a physical weekly planner designed to help families plan their schedules and discuss how they spend time online and offline.

The initiative was introduced on January 9, 2026, as part of the company’s New Year family and community programs.

The calendar was created in partnership with small business creator Linda Tong Planners, known for hand-illustrated stationery.

TikTok said the planner is meant to give parents and teens a shared space to coordinate activities, reflect on the week, and talk about digital habits alongside everyday plans.

TikTok also partnered with several parent creators, including @mrandmrsgrit, @mrshannonlanier, @oh.henrys, and @lyndseystamper1, to share how the calendar fits into family routines.

Their content is being distributed through TikTok’s “For You” feed, showing how the tool can be used for organization and family check-ins.

A limited number of calendars are being offered for free through Linda Tong Planners’ website.

TikTok said the program is part of its broader effort to support families with tools that encourage digital balance and communication.

Why This Matters Today

The launch reflects how social platforms are extending beyond apps into physical tools to shape how families interact with technology.

For you, this shows TikTok positioning itself not only as a content platform but also as a participant in conversations about screen time and digital habits at home.

It also aligns with TikTok’s existing family-focused features, such as Family Pairing and Time & Well-being.

By linking those tools with a tangible planner, the company is experimenting with ways to influence behavior and routines outside the app.
