Meta will invest more than $600 billion in American infrastructure by 2028 to build out advanced AI data centers across the United States, the company announced on November 7, 2025.
These facilities power next-generation AI products and personal superintelligence for the company, while driving economic growth through thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in business for local contractors.
Since 2010, Meta’s data center projects have already created over 30,000 skilled trade positions and 5,000 operational roles nationwide.
The company strengthens host communities by funding roads, water systems, and STEAM education programs, in addition to $58 million in community grants for schools and nonprofits.
Meta is also adding 15 gigawatts of new energy to US power grids, restoring more water than it uses, and providing utility bill assistance to low-income families, ensuring that growth in every location is sustainable.
