Tom Conrad Gets Appointed As Sonos CEO

Sonos announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Tom Conrad as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Conrad, who has served as interim CEO since January, will continue on the Sonos board, continuing his leadership through a pivotal period of rebuilding and refocusing after the company’s 2024 app debacle.

During his interim tenure, Conrad successfully restored key features to Sonos apps, launched software updates for products like the Ace headphones and Arc Ultra, and restructured the organization to prioritize product quality and customer experience.

Board Chair Julius Genachowski praised Conrad’s ability to restore urgency and a clear vision, highlighting his commitment to leading Sonos into its next innovation-driven chapter
