For this edition, I’d like to touch on the Law of Attraction. While not a marketing tactic, it is definitely applicable to any area of life, including marketing.

As an entrepreneur at heart and a Vavoza writer on paper, I have been looking back at some of the past years of my life, and I can absolutely confirm that everything I have achieved so far would not have been in place unless my mind consistently drew pictures of what the result would look like. I’ve held a number of jobs in the past and met a number of people, and each of them sparked thoughts in my head that would brew their way into ideas and, eventually, reality.

I’m sure most of you, if not all of you, have seen the movie or read the book The Secret. This book is what originally influenced my research and, eventually, my belief in the concept of the Law of Attraction. Per the book, your thoughts influence your reality, and while miracles do not happen overnight, visualizing and manifesting the results you want to achieve helps you create those miracles.

The book encourages you to make visualizing a daily practice; however, personally, I do not see that being realistic, as certain events in life can cause total loss of any beliefs, yet I cannot deny that focusing on positive thoughts more brings more positive events into reality. Sadly, the same concept goes for negative thoughts.

Success is a rollercoaster, and sometimes it can seem like 2 steps forward and 5 back; however, keeping an eye on that goal of yours and visualizing your achievements can help you get through the rough patches during your journey. I know it helped me…

Every time I think about what I’m going to write about in TWTV, I reflect on the past month (and just the past in general). So, this will be a blast from the past for me.

In my early to mid-twenties, I owned a lawn and landscaping business and did what I knew to market it and get customers. I made many mistakes, and looking back and knowing what I know now, I realized I’d do many things differently.

Whenever I read one of our VIP Newsletters or our blog, I think back to those days and how I could have implemented the shared strategy, even though the strategy isn’t specific to a lawn care company.

What I’m trying to get at is that it doesn’t matter what kind of business you’re in, whether online, brick-and-mortar, or service-based – thinking conceptually about what you read from Vavoza and implementing it can transform your business! But don’t take my word for it; I encourage you to try it out for yourself.

Hey Insider, it’s good to connect once again (as usual). 🙂

I was having a discussion with one of our agency’s top clients the other day, and he asked me, “If you had to start over, how would you go about building your online business?”

Here is what my response was (more or less):

If I were starting from scratch with no infrastructure, employees, or other major expenses that we have today, I would hands down build an online affiliate marketing business – especially knowing what I know today about the affiliate industry after generating tens of millions of dollars for our clients in the affiliate marketing niche.

Why the affiliate marketing industry? Because affiliate marketing offers something that a traditional business, an agency, or a research company simply does not – TOTAL FREEDOM.

If I were just starting out as an affiliate, I would implement the following strategy and tactics:

  1. I would build an engaged email list by implementing organic advertising tactics on platforms like Quora and Reddit. I would add as much value as possible to the marketplace for free and not ask for anything in return – my goal would be to answer people’s questions and genuinely provide them with helpful information to the best of my ability.

    I would be sitting on Quora, Reddit, and other platforms and MARKETING all day long!

  1. Then, when appropriate, I would invite people who engage with me to get some kind of FREE PDF that I put together about the subject at hand or invite them to join my community, where I would share helpful marketing tips and ideas with them continually.

    As I would serve my community, I would casually plug affiliate offers into my free content in a natural way. For instance, I would talk about why every marketer needs a CRM platform, and I would hyperlink the CRM tool for which I have an affiliate link.

  1. Next, to earn more and bigger commissions, I would become an affiliate of an affiliate education company like Four Percent and invite my subscribers to attend a webinar hosted by the Founder of Four Percent (Vick) – such as this webinar he is doing now! *** Disclaimer: I am not a Four Percent affiliate today.

    To encourage my audience to buy Four Percent’s offers, I would offer a desirable and exclusive bonus to people who sign up through my link.

    Then, as soon as I would earn some commissions by promoting Four Percent’s offers, I would incorporate my results into my free content and show my audience how I was able to earn big commissions by promoting Four Percent – and this would further boost my authority and set the foundation for the next phase of my strategy.

  1. Finally, I would create a course or a paid membership and show my audience exactly how I was able to earn a full-time income as an affiliate marketer. I would share everything I know and genuinely focus on helping my audience succeed, which would fuel my credibility and authority, build my brand, and open many doors for me to reach the next level as an entrepreneur.

That is what I would do if I were starting over, and that is what I would recommend anyone who wants to earn money online or become an online entrepreneur to do.

Notice how in the early phases of my strategy, it was all about grinding it out and spending a significant amount of time adding value to the marketplace and marketing. You can’t skip this phase – you will either grind it out and consistently add value to the marketplace and succeed or look for an “easier” approach and inevitably fail.

Regardless of what business you are in today, I encourage you to craft a compelling marketing strategy and follow it like a blueprint until you achieve your goal.

Incorporate multiple advertising tactics into your strategy (we share many unique tactics in Vavoza Insider) and pivot when necessary, but be strategic and deliberate about your marketing efforts. That’s how you win in 2024.
